Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World Bundle ~ Life’s a Beautiful Journey

Hello lovelies. 

I hope you have all had an absolutely beautiful weekend.

Today I am excited to be joining you as part of an ESAD (Extra Special Australian Demonstrators) blog hop featuring talented Stampin’ Up! demonstrators and artists from around the country! 

For this blog hop we are sharing some fun creations using our favourites from the brand new catalogue. 

I was excited to have a play with the gorgeous Beautiful World bundle and make a card featuring this beautiful bundle, inspired by one of the catalogue samples with some ‘Kayla’ style and touches added.

Here’s a look at my finished card.

I have chosen a bit of a #scrappystriptechnique with this one and cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to the size of my card front and cut several strips of; Coastal Cabana, Pacific Point, Bermuda Bay and Granny Apple Green cardstock into 1cm strips.

I have then adhered these strips diagonally across this cardstock piece and trimmed a section of this to 1″ for the left hand side of my card. 

I am actually loving this technique, and it’s definitely something I will be repeating!

I then made a globe by heat embossing the globe in white embossing on some Shimmer White Cardstock. I then used a mixture of; Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana Inks with our Water Painters to colour this.  Super fun!

I then die cut the globe base from our brand new Brass Foil.

Here’s a close up of the finished card where you can see some of the detail.

I have embossed the background with one of my favourites…the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.

The sentiment has been heat embossed in white on Basic Black Cardstock and I have fussy cut this out.

I then added some Holiday Basic Rhinestones in Pool Party as embellishments along with some of the Forever Greenery Trim beneath my sentiment for some added texture.

Of course I have also added some Wink of Stella splattering.

Here’s a look at the decorated inside to my card where I have used one of the leftover strips of card I made with my scrappy strips and kept it simple with layers of Basic Black and Whisper White.

I then added a sentiment in Memento Black from the Beautiful World Stamp Set.
