Today I am really excited to be bringing you a card for this week’s Global Design Project Challenge.
I was blown away by this sketch when I saw it and just fell in love. I am definitely going to be using this sketch again.
Every week over @ Global Design Project we have a new challenge and they can be anything from sketches, to colour combinations, themes or even CASE’ing challenges!
This week we had a fabulous sketch.

Here’s a look at my finished card.
I decided to focus on two of the brand new stamp sets from the catalogue.
The beautiful All Things Fabulous stamp and die bundle and the Ridiculously Awesome Stamp Set.
I just love them combined and added a fun colour combination to create these fun flowers and card.
The colour combination is what had me going with this card (along with the sketch).
The colours that I have used are:
The flowers were created using the All Things Fabulous bundle. These are super fun three step stamps to create this beautiful three toned flower. I started with the most solid of the floral image in Petal Pink, then stamping in Flirty Flamingo and finally in Magenta Madness.
I have stamped these flowers across the background and stamped three more and die cut with the coordinating dies, to create a bit of dimension and texture.

I have used the Playing with Patterns 6×6 DSP to create a strip on the edge of the card, where I have also added some of the Coastal Cabana Ribbon tied in a bow from the Playing with Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack.
I have also embellished with some of the super fun and fabulous Playing with Patterns Resin Dots.
The sentiment for this card was taken from the Ridiculous Awesome Stamp Set which I have heat embossed in white on some Basic Black Cardstock.
I hope you got some inspiration to have a play with a couple of the new bundles and stamp sets from the new catalogue.
They really are super fun!
