A big happy Sunday!

Today I have a fun card to share with you before I head off to work using the gorgeous Beautiful World bundle.

I saw a sample from the new Annual Catalogue where they cut out the gorgeous globe die and stuck it receptively over the background tone on tone…I went for Coastal Cabana of course *wink*….as Dena Rekowsays….the colour that lets us know that God loves us!

Here’s a look at the finished card where you can see it all come together.

I have used a Bermuda Bay card base and then added layers of Basic Black and Coastal Cabana.

I stuck my globes over my background using just liquid glue and a Stampin’ Sponge (a silicone matt really helps make this technique a lot less messy!).

I then have spritzed some Whisper White Ink refill using an Aqua Painter and some Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker over the background.

I then heat embossed the gorgeous gold quill and added a sentiment on one of the Tasteful Labels Dies. I love this shape – it’s so versatile. In fact all those dies are a must have!

Here’s a close up of the finished card where you can see some of the detail.

I have added some of the Forever Greenery Trim. It’s a great neutral trim and it looks great when you Graysons the edges!

I also added a tiny strip of Gold Foil! Gotta have some gold on there!

I then added some Woven Thread Sequins, a Linen Thread bow and a little die cut from Basic Black from the Beautiful World dies.

Here’s a look at the inside of my card where I have added simple layers of Basic Black and Whisper White with a strip of Gold Foil, some Linen Thread wrapped around and a sentiment from the Beautiful World Stamp set.

I sure do love playing with this bundle, and can see myself using this one lots!
