Stampin’ Up! ~ In Good Taste + Forever Greenery ~ #GDP244

Hey guys! Happy Monday.

Today marks a fabulous day….why?

Because my beauty salon/waxing lady is back in business after the COVID restrictions were put in place. I am so excited and so keen.

That’s Kayla’s little share for today! Celebrating the small things!

Today I also excited as it is a new Global Design Project challenge and this is my second challenge as part of the design team!

This week we are CASE’ing (copying & selectively editing) the amazing Krista Frattin.

Here’s a look at my finished card.

You can see Krista’s original card that we gained inspiration from below.

I chose to use her ‘fun fold’ idea and cut 1 1/4″ from a standard card base and then add some of the awesome In Good Taste DSP, which I cut just a little bit smaller!

I also added a strip of Sahara Sand cardstock which I have stamped repeatedly with one of the gorgeous texture stamps from the Tasteful Touches stamp set.

Here’s a close up of my finished card.

I created a label with the fabulous coordinating Tasteful Labels dies. I have stamped one of those beautiful feathers that I am *obsessed* with in Coastal Cabana and then stamped my sentiment right over the top in Memento Black Ink.

I have then embellished with some trims from the Forever Greenery Trim combo pack and some of those gorgeous Forever Gold Laser Cut pieces (they are gorgeous…a must have!!)

I have then added some Champagne Rhinestones and a stamped and fussy cut foliage piece which I stamped in Shaded Spruce.

I also added some of the fun In Good Taste Wooden Elements.

Here’s a look at the decorated inside to may card with my Sahara Sand strip.

I also added a thin Basic Black strip, another Forever Gold Laser cut piece and a sentiment stamped from the Tasteful Touches stamp set.
