Thanks for popping by my blog today.
I have a card to share with you today that I have been meaning to share for quite a while!
I actually made this for Stampin’ Fancy Friday and forgot to share it on my own blog – my bad!
I actually have to admit the Brilliant Wings Dies and Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set that coordinates is still one of my absolute favourite combos from the current catalogues!
AND who can resist the Charming Sentiments bundle designed by Lisa Curcio? In all my time as a Stampin’ Up! demo – that has to be my FAVE sentiment set!
Here is a look at my finished card.
The whole idea and inspiration behind my card was inspired by my love of watercolour! I love playing with water and my Stampin’ Up! colours. It’s always so unpredictable and beautiful. You never know what will happen.
Before I die cut my butterflies I actually created my own watercolour swatch on Fluid 100 Watercolour paper with a mixture of blues and green before die cutting my butterfly shapes.
I have cut the more detailed butterflies from Rose Gold Foil to place over the top.
Here is a close up of the detail on the card. I have used one of the more detailed dies on my background to add some more detail.
I have added some Linen Thread and some of the gorgeous For Everything Fancy sequins in green.
Here is a look at the inside of my card where I have added one of the leftover butterflies and a sentiment stamped in Memento black.
I love how this card came together and the blues and greens.
I had so much fun making this one and I hope that I was able to provide you with some inspiration today.
Until next time,
Crafty hugs. xx

This is my first visit to your website. It is beautiful, especially your photos. You must be a professional photographer because your card photo shots are gorgeous. I am a newbie demonstrator on TX/USA. I dream of having a beautiful website like yours. But, for now I’m learning the business and learning more about card making. Hugs.
