Thanks for dropping by my blog today.
I have two cards to share that I have been meaning to share for quite a while.
You know when you see some paper and you just see how beautiful it would look coloured?
That’s what I saw when I looked at the Perfectly Pencilled Designer Series Paper.
Look how gorgeous this paper is…
Combine this with our beautiful Watercolour pencils which blend so well! They may be called watercolour pencils but you can actually just use them as pencils! They are so creamy and so beautiful to use!
For these cards I used the large florals and coloured with a whole mixture of pencils before fussy cutting them out. They make such beautiful focal pieces for cards.
Here is a look at the first card that I made.
I used the Good Feelings Stamp on these cards. They have such beautiful large sentiments which look fantastic heat embossed in white on black as large centrepieces on a card. I love the sentiments, they are such beautiful phrases!
I have used an embossed background where I have used one of my favourite embossing folders, the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder. Isn’t it gorgeous?
Here is a close up of the finished card.
I added a Linen bow peeking out from behind the sentiment and some of the beautiful Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed gems to embellish.
Here is a look at the inside of the card which I have kept very simple with a small strip of the Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper and a strip of the Rose Gold Foil.
Here is a look at the second card that I have made which is exactly the same as the original card, just with some slightly different colouring on my floral arrangement and a different sentiment.
I actually love this sentiment. Isn’t it gorgeous?
Here is a close up look at the finished card where you can see some of the texture and detail.
I have adhered my sentiment on some Stampin’ Dimensionals to give it a bit of height.
The inside of the second card is identical to the first, with the use of a different patterned paper.
I love how these cards turned out. Colouring Designer Series Paper is so therapeutic and I will admit that I do love fussy cutting!
I hope that you were able to get some inspiration from my cards.
