Hi everyone!
Today I am popping in to share a fun card that I actually shared over on my Facebook Page recently on a Facebook Live using the beautiful Butterfly Brilliance Bundle.
You can see the Facebook Live on how to create this card here.
I just squealed when I saw this bundle when it was first released – the gorgeous butterflies are right up my alley – so whimsical and fun!
I got inspiration for this particular card from Stampin’ Up! Bundle Focus for the month and decided to interpret it in my own way and run with it.
I hope you get some inspiration…

Here’s a look at the finished card.
I have decided to go with a lot of Mint Macaron on this card. I love the tone on tone look especially when you really overwhelm the tone on tone look with layers upon layers of the same colour.
I am not sure what drags me to doing this – but I just love it and it’s so simple!
I have combined this with a simple die cutting technique using the beautiful dies which actually create that fun cross hatched texture. I added a Stitched Rectangle also cut from Mint Macaron which I then stamped with the butterflies – I use the Stamparatus when stamping the butterflies, as I do find this easiest with such a large stamp.

Here is a close up look at the finished card.
I embellished with a vellum circle cut from the Stitched Shapes – these are retiring and if they are already sold out – you could just use a vellum circle cut from the Layering Circle Dies.
I have also used a butterfly die cut from the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper which has unfortunately sold out – however the stamp does have a large butterfly of the same size that can be stamped, coloured and cut.
I then embellished with some Linen Thread.
The sentiment is taken from the Many Messages Bundle which I have heat embossed in white on Basic Black cardstock.
I hope you got some inspiration from today’s card share and a fabulous bundle that is available from Stampin’ Up! and will be available in the upcoming Annual Catalogue.
Big crafty hugs!
