I had the recent delight of attending an amazing event hosted by the lovely Kylie Bertucci, Bruno Bertucci, Lisa Curcio & Gina Hawley for an awesome Online Stamping Retreat.
It was a day full of amazing online fun with some awesome projects.
They have hosted two online retreats so far and I have attended both and had loads of fun.
They have another planned so be sure to go and check out the website and the Facebook page to stay up to date – because you won’t want to miss out!
You can actually still purchase the recordings and PDF’s if you check out the website link above.
I had so much fun creating this awesome fun fold card demonstrated by the beautiful Kylie Bertucci.
This design was so awesome. I love all the possibilities and have already been raiding my stash to see what else I can make a pop up card out of!
I will admit though that I loved playing with the sunflowers because they have always been a favourite of mine!
Here is a look at my finished card.
I didn’t have the Designer Series Paper that Kylie used on the original card so I have actually used some Shimmery White paper and stamped and heat embossed the sunflower stamp repeatedly with copper embossing powder.
I watercolored my images with a mixture of; Pool Party, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody and Pumpkin Pie.
I actually made one of these layers twice, one for the front of my card and one for the back.
Here’s a close up look at my finished card.
I have added some of the beautiful Fine Sparkle Adhesive Gems.
My card is tied together with some of the Black & White Gingham Ribbon. This is probably my current favourite ribbon. l love how bold it looks!
Here is a look at the inside of my card.
I used some of the beautiful Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper to the inside of my card and then added the pop up mechanism.
This sunflower was so much fun to make. I’ve used the dies and cut the sunflower out several times using crushed curry, vellum and Basic Black Cardstock.
I stamped some extra leaves and watercolored them with Granny Apple Green and die cut some stems with Shimmery White which I have watercolored with Crushed Curry.
We added another card to the backside of the card to add some writing space due to the pop up mechanism in the middle of the card.
I added a stamped sunflower which I have coloured with some coordinating Stampin’ Blends.
I had so much fun making this card.
It was definitely one of my favourites!
Don’t forget to check out the online retreat. Link above!
Until next time,
Crafty hugs. xx
