I had the recent delight of attending an amazing event hosted by the lovely Kylie Bertucci, Bruno Bertucci, Lisa Curcio & Gina Hawley for an awesome Online Stamping Retreat.
It was a day full of amazing online fun with some awesome projects.
They have hosted two online retreats so far and I have attended both and had loads of fun.
They have another planned so be sure to go and check out the website and the Facebook page to stay up to date – because you won’t want to miss out!
You can actually still purchase the recordings and PDF’s if you check out the website link above.
I love fun fold cards.
They are just so much fun and really bring something else to a card.
This fun class was demonstrated by the lovely Lisa Curcio with her daughter Gina Hawley. How much fun to be crafting with your Mum!
They demonstrated two similar cards but both with a twist!
For the first card I decided to put my own spin on it and turn what was a holiday themed card into a baby card with the gorgeous Happy Forest Friends suite. I just adore the fun and whimsical feel to this suite.
Here is a close look at the front of my card.
Can you believe that there is barely ANY stamping on this card?
This is one of those Designer Series Paper designs that you can fussy cut heaps of designs out of! The cut little leaves, bear, fox and tree were all fussy cut. Adorable!
This is a great card design if you want to use up lots of that paper that you have in your stash! I try to use up my paper before it retires out our catalogues so these types of designs are great for me.
This paper was fantastic for a baby themed card and I know so many bubbas on their way!
Here is a close up look at my card front.
I added some beautiful Basic Rhinestones as a simple embellishment and a little “Welcome” which is stamped in Crumb Cake from the coordinating stamp set.
Here is a look at the card opened up where you can see this gorgeous hidden surprise that was peeking out from the card from. It looks like a little gift wrapped with a bow. How fun!
I used the coordinating ribbon from the suite as well as some of the Bakers Twine that comes in the Essentials pack.
Some more fussy cut images adorned the left hand side of my little mini card.
Here is a look at the inside where my stamping comes in. I have added a little owl, some mushrooms and a little bit of greenery. I did blend some Crumb Cake to the edges of this piece.
I love how this card turned out.
What a super cool design.
Ready for a fun twist on this card?
Here is Lisa’s daughter Gina’s take on this card. Essentially it is the same card, but what you see behind isn’t a card – it’s a pocket! How cool is that!
I have used some bright & happy Designer Series Paper for this card and dug out my Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper for this card.
Gina used the Hello Ladybug Bundle for the card and when I think of ladybugs I just couldn’t get the bright and happy thoughts of this paper out of my head.
I stamped one of these gorgeous big flowers in Melon Mambo and fussy cut this out as well as adding some of the fussy cut/die cut accents from the Hues of Happiness to my card front.
I also added a beautiful sentiment from the Charming Sentiments bundle to my card front.
What is super cool: Lisa actually designed this bundle for her million dollar sales achievement with Stampin’ Up! Amazing!
Here is a close up look at the card front.
I embellished the caed with some of the beautiful In Colour 2022-2024 Matte Decorative Dots. These are one of my go to embellishments. I just love the colours!
Now the card opens and look at all that fun!
I added one of the fun ladybugs stamped and punched with the coordinating punch. I added some more of the fussy cut elements and another sentiment from the Charming Sentiments bundle.
Here’s a close up of the decoration and detail.
And a little look at my pocket pulled out. How fun!
I have added some of the Parakeet Party Metallic Woven Ribbon and some of the Parakeet Party In Colour Baker’s Twine.
These two card were so much fun & what a great way to #loveitchopit with some of that Designer Series Paper you have been hoarding in your stash.
I loved doing this class with Gina & Lisa.
I am still buzzing on a high after such a great event.
I have linked all the supplies I have used below.
Until next time.
Crafty hugs. xx
