I am on a posting/sharing roll! I won’t lie all these new products have me giddy & on a creative high!
It’s good to be back at the crafty desk though and I am excited to be having all these new products at my finger tips and doing what I love most and that is sharing them with you all!
When I grabbed this Cheerful Daisies bundle out the other day I really wanted to combine it with some Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock and then it reminded me of the gorgeous colours from the Hello Irresistible papers from the Online Exclusives range! I love that Stampin’ Up! now offers these beautiful exclusive ranges.
We can’t forget about them! They may not be in the catalogues but they are definitely online and this paper had me as soon as I saw it! I keep reaching for these gorgeous designs and I won’t lie – Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon and definitely two of my favourite colours!
These are my absolute favourite patterns in the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper …
It’s what I immediately gravitated towards when I was making and designing my card that I have shared today. When combined with the whites and cool Pool lParty in the daisies it was really striking. I added to a Lost Lagoon card base and it just looked beautiful.
You can see a link to these Designer Series Paper’s in my Online store below.
Here is a look at the finished card.
I have cut my daisies from the largest daisy die which is actually really cool, it may be confusing at first as the dies are actually one large combined die but are designed to work together and be layered! I have cut all three layers of the daisy combining the large connected daisy, the solid daisies and the more intricate daisies and layered them all together.
I have used a Blending Brush with some Pool Party ink to light brush some soft blue onto my daisies and then used the stamp for the centre of my daisies to lightly stamp some Daffodil Delight into my centres.
Here is a look at how the dies come and which dies I have used. As you can see there are quite a few components but they layer together quite easily!
Here is a look at the fun colour combo.
Definitely some of my favourite colour combos combined there…
Here is a little close up at the finished card.
I used some of that GORGEOUS Distressed Gold Speciality paper to cut some of those detailed branches from the dies.
I have to say I have not utilised that stuff much and I think that is going to be pulled out of hiding. It’s beautiful and looks fabulous on those detailed dies.
I have accented the card with some of those stunning Loose Silver Sequins as I wanted something to embellish that was quite subtle and those are stunning, just enough sparkle without being to over the top.
I have some beautiful Linen Thread tangled in the background – a definite favourite of mine – and something that Stampin’ Up! is never allowed to retire – I hope they heard me say that!
Here is a look at the inside of my card where I have added some more of the Designer Series Paper, a small slither of that distressed gold paper and a little bit of stamping with another daisy.
The cool thing with that bundle is not only is there fabulous layering dies but the stamp set also layers beautiful with some two step stamping.
I actually stamped the daisy here with the outline in Lost Lagoon and in the inner with Pool Party. It had such a beautiful and soft layering effect.
I have splattered some ink with some Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Write Marker and called it done!
I had so much fun with this card and playing with some of these new products.
If there is something you do want to try, I really encourage you to give these a go because there is so much you can do with these ones, from layering with the stamps to the dies. You can use the single daisies, to using them all! There are so many options with this bundle – there is also Designer Series Paper that coordinates. I have just chosen to mix it up with this one and used Designer Series Paper from another collection.
I hope that you got some inspiration from my crafty share today.
I will be back with some more soon.
Until next time,
Crafty hugs. xx
