Happy mid week – hump day they call it!
I will say – I don’t particularly like Wednesdays, they are always REALLY busy in my household. I like to call it ‘the day of appointments’ – but today I am excited because I am coming on to share this month’s Instahop with you! Even better – it’s Sale-a-Bration themed!
Who doesn’t love seeing what they can do with all this gorgeous exclusive free product?
If you are new to Instahops, they are pretty cool. It’s a group of us from around the world that share our themed cards on Instagram and link to the next person.
If you want to see the ‘actual’ hop as it’s not a blog hop, head over to my Instagram here.

Today’s card that I am sharing features a Designer Series Paper that I wasn’t sold on at first. It’s all flowers & purples and seemed a bit too ‘floral’ for me. Then I got it in my hot little hands – and fell in love. The richness and depth of this paper is amazing!
It’s FREE with a $90 order at the moment – and I am not kidding when I say that you won’t want to miss it!

I actually made two cards! That’s how much I loved it.
The flowers came in two colour ways; Calypso Coral and Fresh Freesia. What could I do but make one for both?
AND – I featured a new stamp set from the Mini Catalogue (Covered in Sunshine) which has the most adorable quotes so I just had to feature two of them!
I went to town fussy cutting some of these gorgeous flowers out and really made them the feature and focal point of my cards!

Here is a close up of the finished cards where you can see some of the detail.
I have heat embossed my sentiments in white. The sentiment on the left I have trimmed apart into strips and the one on the right actually coordinates with the hexagon die from the Beautiful Shapes dies – how cool is that?
I have embellished my cards with some of the gorgeous Champagne Rhinestones and Brushed Brass Butterflies. GORGEOUS!
The actually card base itself has been blended with a Blending Brush and tone on tone ink to achieve the vintage look. I loved the extra texture it gave. I have also spritzed the background with the coordinating colour in a Stampin’ Write Marker. I am pretty sure I spritz everything – well definitely would if given the chance.

Here is a little peek at the inside of the purple card (they are both the same). I have added a little more blending, some Designer Series Paper and another fussy cut flower.
I loved making these cards.
I really wanted to show off that gorgeous paper & convince everyone that they definitely need a pack. It’s beautiful I promise!
I hope that I was able to give you some inspiration on today’s blog post.
Be sure to go and check out my Instagram to check out all the other’s amazing work.
Until next time,
Crafty hugs. xx
