Here is a look at my finished card.
it was actually inspired by one of the Sale-a-Bration card samples. I LOVE how that used the Rays of Light stamp set and cut away the white parts of the stamp set for this fun background!

I had a lot of fun colouring my Hippo with Watercolour Pencils using a combination of Basic Black, Basic Gray and Whisper White pencils.

Isn’t it fun?
I just love the Parakeet Party. The bright and happy feeling I get when playing with this colour is just so much fun!
I love greens combined with blue and loved this combined with the pop of Poppy Parade.

Here is a close up look at the finished card and the fun details.
I used another Sale-a-Bration product on my finished card for the sentiment using the sentiment from the Amazing Phrasing stamp set.
This is such a beautiful stamp set with a fun font. I loved the funky look created with the bright white on the Basic Black when heat embossed.

I have embellished this finished card with some Parakeet Party Baker’s Twine and some In Colour Matte Decorate Dots.

Here is a look at the inside of the card with another hippo coloured with watercolour pencils and a small strip of the Parakeet Party Glimmer Paper.

I had so much fun playing with the Hippo set again.
