I am so excited to share a fun card with you today using a stamp/die bundle out of the Annual Catalogue that I didn’t realise would appeal to me so much!
There’s something about this bundle that I just love. I love the sentiments, the dies and the combinations you can make combining them all!
Here is a look at my finished card.
I wanted to go bright with this card. I always think of blues & reds when I think of lighthouses and I wanted to do the complete opposite and go with some girly colours!
I chose to focus on some In Colours and went for some Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia on this card and I love how it turned out!
I focused on the beautiful dies that coordinate with the Lighthouse Point bundle in this suite and then added one of the coordinating sentiments from the stamp set. I love that the dies come with some beautiful pieces that don’t necessarily match with the stamps but can add some fun details and texture to a card.
I added the fun striped piece underneath my sentiment label and it just added a little bit more texture to my card. I actually die cut this from the Ombre In Colour Glimmer Paper. I always love a bit of glitter and sparkle!
Here is a close up of the finished card so you can see some of the texture and detail up close.
The background itself is actually made using some Blending Brushes and a combination of; Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody and Pale Papaya Inks.
On my background I have spritzed some Whisper White Ink Refill using a Water Painter for a fun effect.
I also added some blending to the lighthouse simply by adding some Polished Pink ink to a die cut Polished Pink piece to add some more definition to the right hand side.
To embellish my card I added some of the beautiful Opal rounds.
Here is a look at the inside of my card where I have some of the stamping from the coordinating stamp set, which I have stamped in the same colours you can see on the card front.
I added a small strip of the In Colour Glimmer Paper to coordinate.
I had so much fun with this project making a feminine card from an otherwise masculine themed set.
I hope you got some inspiration from my project share today.
Be sure to check below where I have linked all of the supplies that I have used, all of which are available in my store here.
