Stampin’ Up! Loyal Leaves ~ Missing You Card

Happy Sunday lovelies!

Today I am sharing a quick card that I made using the beautiful new Loyal Leaves Stamp Set.

I decided to combine this fun masculine stamp set with the gorgeous In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. I love this Designer Series Paper as it is so perfect for so many different themes and cards and is just so versatile!

Here’s a look at my finished card where you can see the complete layout.

I have stamped the leaves from the Loyal Leaves stamp set in Versamark and heat embossed in Gold on some Vellum Cardstock. I have then fussy cut these leaves out.

I have stamped a sentiment in Versamark and heat embossed in white on some Basic Black Cardstock, I have then fussy cut this sentiment out.

I have kept the card pretty simple with layers of Basic Black on a Whisper White card base with a layer of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.

On the background I have also spritzed some Whisper White Pigment Ink Refill using the water painters and using one of our Acrylic Blocks as a ‘pallet’. I love using this technique for a really fun effect!

Here’s a close up of the finished card where you can see some of the texture and detail!

I have used a mixture of the Forever Greenery Trim with some of the Early Espresso Faux Suede Trim and finally some Linen Thread.

I love the different textures that these add to the card.

I have then embellished with some of the Antique Corners and Slides with some Gilded Gems!

It wouldn’t be a Kayla card without some spritzes of Wink of Stella also!

Here’s a look at the decorated inside of the card where I have added layers of Basic Black and Whisper White with some of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper and some stamping in Shaded Spruce, Pear Pizazz and Crumb Cake.

I have then stamped a sentiment in Memento Black.
