Stampin’ Up! Playful Pets ~ Sorry For Your Loss Card

Happy Saturday people!!

Today is a beautiful sunny day but still freezing! Hope you are all having a lovely crafty day!

Today I am sharing a card that I have made recently for a lovely friend that recently lost her furry companion.

This uses the beautiful new Playful Pets suite.

It’s just a gorgeous suite and is perfect for both cat and dog lovers!

I have made a list of all the products I have used in today’s project at the bottom of this post, all of which can be found in my store here.

Here’s a look at the final card.

I have used the fun Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder for a fun textured background.

Combined with the beautiful Playful Pets Designer Series Paper, it makes for a simple but effective card layout.

I kept the colours somewhat simple with just basic neutrals of Crumb Black, Basic Black and Whisper White with some touches of Cinnamon Cider, Crumb Cake and Melon Mambo Stampin’ Blends!

The card base I have stamped with some hearts in Crumb Cake ink for a bit of added interest.

Here’s a close up of the finished card where you can see some of the texture and detail.

I have added one of the cute Playful Pets Trinkets tied with a Linen Thread bow.

I have also added some of the Playful Pets Trim Combo with the beautiful black and white baker’s twine.

I added some spritzing with an Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker and some spritzing with some fun Wink of Stella.

Here’s a look at the decorated inside of the card where I have added layers of Basic Black and Whisper White with some Playful Pets DSP and some Linen Thread.

I have also added another sentiment heat embossed in white on Basic Black Cardstock.
