Happy Tuesday lovely readers!
Today I am popping on here to share a beautiful and fun card whilst I am busy preparing to fly home.
I have been busy up North enjoying some sunshine and time spent with family in Queensland.
Today is the day of embracing airports in ‘mask’ style with COVID restrictions and the new ‘normal’ that comes with travelling.
While I sit here though – I am getting excited about all my love of paper crafting and the ideas that have been whirling around my head whilst I have been enjoying a much needed break away.
I hope that you get some inspiration from today’s post.
Be sure to check the bottom of this post for a full list of supplies that I have used, all of which are available in my store here.

Here’s a look at the finished card.
I have used the GORGEOUS Pattern Party 12×12 Designer Series Paper. I love a good black and white strip and love how dramatic it looks.
I had the challenge of making a boys birthday card and when I asked my seven year old son whether or not his friend liked dogs – he said yes! I knew that I had to combine this adorable puppy with some more dramatic and fun colours!
I have used some scraps of; Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point, Pool Party and Bermuda Bay to create a fun accent strip to place underneath my focal point – along with a small strip of the Ombre Specialty Paper.
My puppy is coloured with a mixture of Smoky Slate, Poppy Parade and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends.

Here’s a close up of finished card where you can see some of the texture and detail.
I have added some of the Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles and some of the new Baker’s Twine Essentials in black in a ‘twine mess’ as I like to call it.
The sentiment is simply stamped in Pacific Point on some Basic White.

Here’s a look at the inside of the card which I have kept simple with layers of Bermuda Bay and Basic White with a leftover strip of my coloured scraps.
I have then added some more of the Basic Black twine.
I really hope you got some inspiration from today’s card share.
Be sure to check below for a full list of the supplies I have used.
