Happy sensational Sunday!
I hope that you have had a relaxing weekend and are having an amazing Sunday!
I come to you still from beautiful Queensland – where I am having an amazing time away, checking in with myself and taking some much needed self care time.
Today I am bringing you a card that I made recently for a friend who is having a hard time.
I saw this gorgeous new stamp set “Count on Me” from the annual catalogue and knew that with the joey – I just had to make this for her.
Here’s a look at the finished card.
I chose to use one of our gorgeous new colours – Soft Succulent. I just adore this new colour. It really is so soft and subtle!
I used the beautiful Painted Textured 3D embossing folder to add some texture to this piece.
I have then used some of the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper to add some designs and texture elements along with some wood texture by adding in a large panel of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. I have added some Linen Thread to where these pieces meet after adhering this to a layer of Basic White.
Here’s a close up of the finished card.
I coloured my joey with Stampin’ Blends in a mixture of Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, Polished Pink, Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight before using some Paper Snips to fussy cut him out.
I have then embellished the card with some Genial Gems and adding a Linen Thread bow and some Wink of Stella for some sparkle.
I also added a sentiment heat embossed in white.
Here’s a look at the inside of the card which is kept simple with layers of Basic White and Basic Black with some Hand Penned Designer Series Paper, Linen Thread and a simple stamped sentiment.
I hope that you were able to get some fun inspiration from today’s fun crafty share and are having a fabulous weekend.
