Happy Monday everyone!
A new day and a brand new week! A new week means lots of fresh beginnings and a whole new week to be inspired by all that is creative and inspiring around us.
Today I am excited to be bringing you a card that I made a little while ago featuring the lovely Pretty Perennials Bundle.
I was so excited to be using this bundle that was actually created/inspired by the lovely Dena Rekow (a million dollar sales achiever) with Stampin’ Up!
I made this card and sent it to Dena in the USA as it marked a sad occasion with the passing of his suite dog Sophie at Christmas time.
When I saw her sad news, I wanted to send my condolences and so using her gorgeous stamp set, combined with the gorgeous Dog Punch and some pretty papers seemed fitting.

Here is a look at the finished card.
This fun fold was a bit different for me and is actually just a Z shutter fold card where I have scored the panel at different sized to create a bit of a ‘shutter’ effect and so when it all folds down they are different (but even sizes) the width of the card is my standard Australian sized card.
I have used the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper matted with Basic Black Cardstock to decorate all of my panels
I then created a belly band with some Granny Apple Green Cardstock and some of the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon.
I used the Layering Ovals dies and Stitched Shapes Dies (both of which are sadly retiring) to create a base for my focal image which was the Dog Punch punched in Basic Black cardstock.
The dog punch is also a retiring punch – so if any of these items are on your wish list – grab them now!

Here’s a close up of the card.
I have decorated it with beautiful florals from the Pretty Perennials Bundle.
This bundle comes with matching dies which takes the hard work out of it – when you can just die cut those images out.
I have stamped these in a mixture of; Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Bermuda Bay and Granny Apple Green.
The sentiment is taken from the Pampered Pets Stamp set and heat embossed in white on some Basic Black Cardstock.

Here is another close up of the finished card where you can see the belly band removed, as it simply ‘slips’ off the card so that it can easily come undone.

Here’s a look at the decorated inside of the card which I have kept simple with the Stitched Rectangle Dies to create somewhere to write and another sentiment heat embossed in white on Basic Black cardstock from the Pampered Pets Stamp Set.
I have added some more florals from the Pretty Perennials bundle.
I hope you got some inspiration from today’s fun project share which was ab it of an interactive card.
I just love the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper and it was sadly be leaving us very very soon (not quite in May – but it will be leaving in June, so not too much longer!)
Happy Monday guys and have a lovely crafty week!
