It’s my very last share of my projects from the Online Stamping Retreat *sad face*
but what a ride it has been sharing them all with you!
Sorry for the bad photo – what weather we have had here – torrential rain & hail! Yuck! Doesn’t do much for taking nice photos.
This was my Kylie version of the Kylie/Bruno class where we did the fabulous Slide Flip cards.
You can see my Bruno version of this card in the post here.
You can see Kylie Bertucci’s fabulous work and card designs on her blog here.
I loved changing it up with this one and the fact that Kylie did a different size with hers and had it as a bit more of a square sized card. That’s why it’s great having the duo classes so you can really see that you can take the same style/technique/fold and really make it into so much more!
It was also a great time to use one of my favourite bundles the Two Tone Flora (which I also used the coordinating Designer Series Paper which is now retired) however you can substitute this with any coordinating Designer Series Paper!
The bundles that I have used have carried over to the current catalogue. Yippee!

Here is a look at my finished card!
I actually started with a colour scheme for this card. Sometimes when I am trying to start somewhere (or just not sure of where to start) I will start with the colours.
For this one I knew that I wanted to use that Designer Series Paper and it was full of just that…COLOUR! So I pulled some colour right from the paper. I included a few samples of the colour combo in the swatch below…
Once I had that decided I went to work using the flowers from the stamp set to stamp a heap of the images and die cut them with the corresponding dies. The cool thing about these stamps is they are two step stamps and are so easy to line up!
For my little ‘square’ and layer on the front, I also really wanted to add some texture, so I took the large floral texture die from the Two Tone Flora Dies and die cut out a large piece of this to adhere on top of some Basic White which I have lightly inked with some Starry Sky Ink before adhering on a layer of Orchid Oasis.
I love the depth and texture this helped to give the card.
P.S. Total confession. I DO NOT like Orchid Oasis *GASP* This card was actually a challenge to myself to help me learn to love it… I am getting there. It is still not a favourite but it is growing on me!

Here is a look at the little slide out piece! I love how this mechanism works. The photos really don’t do it justice how this fun fold works. The whole piece just slides out and simply slides back in. I should have recorded a little video – it’s so cool!
I have added a little layer of Designer Series Paper, some more Basic White with some more stamping and a little bit of foil with a simple sentiment.

A look at the card inside. I LOVE Starry Sky. That is a colour that I can love forever. It’s so deep and so beautiful! I could just fall into it! I love how it looks here! I have spritzed some of the ink from Stampin’ Write Markers to to finish it off.
P.S.
The sentiments in this beautiful coordinating Something Fancy stamp set are just gorgeous. I mean who wouldn’t love receiving a card like this with those kinds of words.
My favourite is “Grateful For The Everyday Magic of You” Honestly? Swoon!
I hope that you were able to get some inspiration from today’s card share and the rest of the card’s that I have shared from the projects that I created at the retreat.
