Stampin’ Up! – Waterfall Canyon – Beyond Grateful

Happy Saturday!
I have a fun card to share with you today using this beautiful bundle that is part of the awesome Perfect Partners promotion this month. I fell in love with this Waterfall Canyon bundle when I saw it. The idea of this beautiful gushing waterfall and nature just had me!

You can purchase this as a bundle this month only. The stamps are part of our ongoing Annual Catalogue that is available until May next year however the coordinating dies are a special release that is only available this month!
There are some other special coordinating die releases as well.

I actually CASE’d the card sample in the promotion samples that you can see above. I used that as a basis for my idea. I loved the whole idea of the waterfall and all the die cut greenery and rocks and trees.
I won’t lie – it’s a lot of die cutting – but so worth it!

My background is a piece of Soft Sky cardstock which I have added some Coastal Cabana ink lightly blended with a Blending Brush for some added definition.

I found it easier to stamp and die cut everything first and then work on building my card.

Here I a close up look at the finished card.
I chose not to add too much embellishment other than the dies cuts and went for a simple Linen Thread bow and some of the beautiful Faux Sea Glass Shapes. I think these work beautifully at the bottom of a waterfall as little ‘rocks’.

The Charming Sentiments bundle is still getting plenty of use in my craft room as I just LOVE IT. I love that it has coordinating dies and I really hope Stampin’ Up! does this again with some sentiment bundles – it is just so useful and easy!
This would make the most adorable thank you card!

I made a quick decorated insert for my card where I have used some of the leftover die cuts in a small arrangement to the bottom right hand corner of my card with some bending in Soft Sky with a Blending Brush.
I added another sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set and my card was finished!

This was such a fun card to make.
