Stamping Society ~ Stampin’ Up! ~ Flowers for Every Season ~ July Hop

Hey lovely people. Happy July!

I always feel like July is our coldest month here. It’s not, but I think it’s the month that Winter really hit in here in Tasmania. I am definitely rugged up with the heater on at my craft desk!

Today is an exciting day as it’s time for another Stamping Society Blog Hop!

This month we are featuring the gorgeous Flowers for Every Season Suite of products and have loads of inspiration to share with you all.

This is such a gorgeous suite with so many beautiful products and options.

What is Stamping Society?

It’s a monthly tutorial bundle from six different designers all over the world and each month we do a blog hop featuring a certain theme or product and then put together a tutorial and video which you can either purchase, earn for free on our teams or earn for FREE as one of our customers.

Here’s a look at my finished card.

I started with the smaller sunflower stamp from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and really wanted to colour it BRIGHT and happy.

Traditionally I think of sunflowers and think of YELLOW…but I wanted to add in some pink!

I was really inspired with colour for this project and that is not unusual for me.

I decided to take some Stampin’ Blends to my sunflower and colour it in a mixture of; Magenta Madness, Mango Melody, Crumb Cake and Cinnamon Cider with a touch of Granny Apple Green. I talk more about how to colour and achieve this look in my tutorial which you can find out how to purchase or get for FREE at the bottom of this post.

I have also added some Coastal Cabana into the mix and repeatedly stamped the sunflower in Coastal Cabana over the background.

I have then added some fun accents using the Flowers for Every Season Memories & More Card pack. Did you know these packs come with fun elements and stickers? They are where the beautiful white vines came from.

I have also added some Flowers for Every Season ribbon from the combo pack in Whisper White and then embellished with some of the Flowers for Every Season Gems.

Here’s a look at the colour combination I have used today…

Here’s a close up look at the finished card where you can see some of the texture and detail.

I added some Wink of Stella sparkle of course *wink*

I have also heat embossed the sentiment in white on Basic Black *SURPRISE* Haha! I am a little bit addicted to doing that with my sentiments lately. I have then fussy cut this sentiment out.

Here’s a look at the inside of my card which I have kept pretty simple with layers of Magenta Madness and Whisper White.

I have then repeated the sunflower image, coloured exactly the same as the card front and added another sentiment stamped in Memento Black.
