Still Scenes ~ Snowglobe Card

Hello lovely blog readers!
Today I am popping by to share another fabulous card with you all featuring the Still Scenes bundle from Stampin’ Up!
This has to be by far, one of my favourite bundles.
I just think there is so much that you can do with this bundle for Christmas and beyond!
I have seen all sorts of things done from birthday cards, to gum ball machines and so much more!

Today I stuck with Christmas theme (can you believe it’s less than a month away now?) and went with this fun snowy church scene.

I must admit that I have a bit of a love affair for the puff paint and really wanted to use this to create some ‘snowy’ trees which you can see here.

I have also used the Subtle textured 3D embossing folder on my layer of Whisper White to create some more texture to my white layer. I have added this texture however, after cutting the globe opening, so as not to flatten the texture.

Behind my snowglobe, I added a piece of Seaside Spray which I heat embossed with the coordinating Still Scenes stamp set to create some snowflakes in the background.

I have cut some trees from both Pretty Peacock and Old Olive and then added some Puff Paint to my Pretty Peacock trees – which were to be layered in front.

I cut the church from am mixture of Smoky Slate and Daffodil delight to create lit up windows.
I then adhered all these pieces using Stampin’ Dimensions to the piece of Seaside Spray before adding my shaker components in.

For the shaker I used a mixture of Ice Glitter and the Snowflake Sequins.
– I would go easy though – as here as I did add a touch too much!

To finish up the card I have stamped a sentiment and heat embossed with white onto my piece of Pretty Peacock and flagged the end of this piece.

My snowglobe base is cut from Gold Foil and then I have simple added a double Linen Thread bow and a Gold Jingle Bell.

Of course I had to also decorate the inside, so I have stamped a simple sentiment and then stamped the gorgeous little cottage, which I then coloured with Stampin’ Blends.
