Here’s a look at my finished card where you can see the final layout.

I must admit that I am gravitating towards landscape orientated cards more and more.

I consider the Summer Days stamp set a bit of a ‘scene builder’ stamp set where you can use a mixture of stamps to build a scene of your liking.

I have stamped all my images on some Thick Whisper White Cardstock in Memento Black.

I have then coloured these with a mixture of; Old Olive, Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Gray Granite, Mango Melody, Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Smoky Slate, Petal Pink and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends.

I certainly had a lot of fun and went to town on the colouring but it was so peaceful and relaxing!

I have then added this coloured piece to a matt of Early Espresso Cardstock and adhered this to a Crumb Cake card base.

I have also added a 1″ strip of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to frame my ‘artwork piece’.

Here’s a close up of the finished card where you can see some of the detail.

I added some Wink of Stella spritzing to the final card and have added some Wink of Stella to my trees for some sparkle and shine.

I have also added some of the gorgeous Early Espresso Faux Suede Ribbon and one of the gorgeous Antiqued Corners and Slides. These are gorgeous and I can see myself using them lots.

I have also heat embossed a sentiment from the Lovely You Stamp Set in white on some Early Espresso Cardstock and fussy cut this out. I have adhered this to the ribbon with some Mini Glue Dots.

Here’s a look at the inside of my card where I have replicated the card front adding a strip of In Good Taste DSP and some Faux Suede Ribbon. I stamped the ‘always’ from the Lovely You Stamp Set in Memento Black. I kept it simple with some layers of Whisper White and Basic Black.
