Timeless Tropical ~ Friendship Shaker Card

Hello lovely blog readers. Happy Friday!!

YAY! for the weekend. I am particularly excited because it is my weekend off…which means CRAFTY TIME!

Today I have a card to share with you that was the original card I made before the card I shared recently using the ‘scraps’ which you can see on this blog post here.

I was craving some time using some Press N’ Seal and repeating the Floating Frame technique, which is what I shared on the card linked above.

Here’s a look at the finished card.

I really wanted to make a friendship card with those ever so gorgeous So Sentimental Stamp Set. Gosh I love that stamp set! It has the most beautiful sentiments.

I decided to make a ‘shaker’ card with this one and I have filled it with some of those gorgeous elements like gold and vellum flower die cuts from the coordinating dies. I have also added some Peaceful Poppies sequins and some of the Tropical Oasis Trinkets.

I have cut the shaker ‘frame’ with the awesome Stitched Rectangle Dies.

I have coloured my fun frangipanis and pineapples with a mixture of; So Saffron, Pineapple Punch and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. Of course I also added some Wink of Stella.

To decorate the centres of some of my flowers I have added some Noble Peacock Rhinestones. I love love love those rhinestones.

Here’s a close up look at my finished card where you can see some of the detail.

I have added one of these ‘billy bows’ that I call them back from when Billy Moan used to be a demonstrator and shared these.

I added a Tropical Trinket in a hibiscus to the centre.

Here’s a look at my decorated inside which I have kept simple with layer of Basic Black and Whisper White with a leftover pineapple and a flower and leaf cut in Granny Apple Green.
