There are some stamp sets that you look at and immediately start imagining all the cards you could make with them… and Begonia Belle was definitely one of those sets for me!

This beautiful Stampin’ Up! stamp set was our July Product of the Month at Stampin’ Up!, and after playing with it, I can absolutely see why it was such a popular choice. In fact… it proved to be very popular because Begonia Belle has now sold out!
While you can no longer grab the set, I still wanted to share a couple of cards I created with it because good ideas are definitely worth sharing!

For these cards, I had so much fun playing with the layered floral images and seeing how differently they could look simply by changing the colours.

The first card is all about those gorgeous pinks and purples, with the large floral image taking centre stage. I added layers of leaves, gold accents, ribbon and a few little embellishments to create a card with plenty of texture and dimension.

I love how dramatic the darker background makes those bright pink flowers pop!
And then there’s the second card…

For this one, I went in a completely different direction with pink, yellow, orange and green. 🌈

It’s brighter, sunnier and has a completely different feel — which is one of my favourite things about a versatile stamp set. You can use the exact same images but create something that feels totally different just by changing your colour palette and layout.

And can we talk about those layers?!
A little stamping, some fussy cutting, a few die-cut elements, ribbon, embellishments and a touch of gold can take a card from simple to “yes, I definitely want to give this one to someone special!”
