What a fun day I had today with so much happening in my Stampin’ Up! world! Today I had a lot of fun at my Mini Catalogue Launch party with Rochelle & Maheswari as we showed off brand new catalogue products over at The Stamping Lounge & hosted some fun classes!
We had loads of fun & have another event coming up soon with the virtual Reindeer Days retreat! Tonight I finished up my day with another fun live over on my Facebook page showing the is fun ombre blending technique to get a beautiful night sky look with this fun flying reindeer from the Stampin’ Up! Reindeer Fun Bundle. This was so much fun to make. Scroll down and you can find the FREE PDF.

Originally I was going to create this card for the upcoming Reindeer Days virtual retreat for The Stamping Lounge but this was too much fun & I just wanted to show you all this ombre blending technique!
Imagine this same design/card but change up the colours and try a sunset with pinks/oranges or add in some beautiful purple tones? The possibilities are endless with this design!

I chose to stick to the deep blues here with a mixture of; Night of Navy, Blueberry Bushel and Boho Blue.

This card also features a fun Spotlight technique where I used the Stylish Shapes dies to die cut out a circle from the card layer and pop it back in raised up on Stampin’ Dimensionals. This technique allowed for some texture and dimension without covering up or taking away the beautiful ombre blending technique that I used to create that sky!

To embellish the card I wanted to keep things pretty minimal as the sky was the main feature so I added some simple White Loose Snowflakes to enhance the night sky with a beautiful Night of Navy Linen Thread double bow.
I also added one of my favourite products at the moment – the Drusy Dots! These embellishments are magnificent and have so much sparkle and shine – perfect for a night sky!

The inside of the card has some simple blending to achieve a little bit of that night sky feel on the inside with a simple stamped and coloured reindeer.
