Rise & Shine ~ SAB Free Stamp Card

Hello lovely people and welcome back to my crafty little corner.

Today I am sharing with you something exciting using of the brand new Sale-a-Bration stamp sets featuring the BEAUTIFUL and super groovy Rise & Shine stamp set.

This stamp set is right up my alley of course….because well those who know me – know that coffee is totally my thing!

So you may have heard on the news and round the web about Australia and the toilet paper crisis at the moment. I have a bit of a giggle…because if you don’t laugh, you would cry!

But a funny little story…well I thought if I was forced into self-isolation my go to staple is coffee.

I may or may not have 30 cartons of long life lactose free milk. Giggle!!

And LOTS of coffee pods. So I apologise in advance! Haha!

Today’s card, I really wanted to focus on keeping it quick and simple, for those that don’t like too many layers of fussy-ness.

Here’s a look at the finished card where you can see how quick and simple this one was.

I love blue & green together – it’s always my go to colour combo.

For this card I have used a mixture of Blueberry Bushel, Granny Apple Green and Coastal Cabana.

Coastal Cabana

Cut a card base from Blueberry Bushel to your standard card base. I have created a side folding card, landscape.
Cut a Whisper White layer to 9.9cm x 14.3cm.
Cut a layer of the Coastal Cabana Cardstock to 9.7cm x 14.1cm. Stamp the ‘xoxo’ stamp repeatedly over the background of this piece with Coastal Cabana Stampin’ Pad. Then adhere this piece to your layer of Whisper White and adhere this to your card. I have also splattered Wink of Stella over the card before adding my focal point.
Cut a circle using the largest circle Stitched Shapes Die from Thick Whisper White Cardstock. Cut a scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Dies form Gold Glimmer. Adhere these together with Glue Dots and adhere to the centre of your card.
Take the ‘mug’ stamp and stamp a mug with the handle facing to the left with Blueberry Bushel ink. Please note: these stamps are reversible stamps so you may have to flip them over and use either side, and they do take a tad more pressure and a big of a ‘wiggle when stamping’ to ensure a good finish. I have then stamped the ‘sun ray’ in Versamark ink and heat emboss this around the Blueberry Bushel mug with Gold. Stamp the ‘Rise and Shine’ sentiment in the middle with Mango Melody ink. Next stamp the patterned mug with the handle facing the right with Granny Apple Green ink. Adhere the Granny Apple Green mug down to the circle where shown with Liquid Glue. Punch a label from Whisper White Cardstock using the Pretty Label punch. Adhere this to the back of the Blueberry Bushel Mug with Liquid Glue and then adhere this mug where shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Add a double thickness Linen Thread Bow and adhere this to the left hand side of the Blueberry Bushel mug with a Glue Dot.
Embellish with some Holiday Basic Rhinestones in blue tones and I have also added some of the sequins from the SAB sequins and twine pack. I just used a touch of Liquid Glue and my Take Your Pick Tool to adhere these down.
Decorate the inside of your card if you wish. I have added a sentiment and added layers of Whisper White and Blueberry Bushel. See below for the picture.

I love the ‘grounding’ that the simple circle gives to the mugs and repeated stamping tone on tone is one of my favourite go to techniques for a background.

I can see myself using this stamp set LOTS! I have lots of projects in mind.

Here’s a look at the inside of the card, where you can see that I have kept it very simple – just a sentiment which I have stamped in Memento Black and Blueberry Bushel.
