Stampin’ Up! Blossoms in Bloom + New In Colours ~ Hello Cards

Hello lovely crafty souls!

I am coming to you a bit later than usual today because I just knocked off my night shifts and had a bit of a crafty day with my crafty friend Jodie and a little afternoon snooze.

I wanted to still come to you with some cards that I made this week with the brand new Stampin’ Up! In Colours for 2020-2022 inspired by the lovely Rochelle Blok and a few other cards I have seen made with this gorgeous new Blossoms in Bloom Bundle.

Here’s a look at the card design I used for all five cards.

It’s actually relatively simple and I haven’t used too many supplies.

I have dry embossed all five card fronts in each of the In Colours with a piece of either; Misty Moonlight, Magenta Madness, Cinnamon Cider, Bumblebee or Just Jade Cardstock with the gorgeous Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.

I have then die cut from Whisper White and Vellum Cardstock the floral pieces from the Blossoms in Bloom bundle and adhered these together with some Fine Tip Glue.

I have added some Clear Wink of Stella to all my Whisper White outline pieces.

I have then added some Forever Greenery Metallic Gold Trim to the card front and added a white heat embossed ‘Hello’ sentiment’

I backed my embossed In Colour piece with some Basic Black Cardstock and adhered this to a Whisper White card base.

Here’s a close up of the finished card where you can see some of the texture and detail up close.

I have added some of the gorgeous Gilded Gems to embellish. I just love those things!

I have also added some more Clear Wink of Stella ‘spritzed’ over the card.

Here’s a look at the inside of the card which I have kept simple with layers of Basic Black and Whisper White and just added a strip of the In Color 2020-2022 6×6 Designer Series Paper and some Linen Thread wrapped around this piece before adhering to the inside of the card.

I have also stamped one of the coordinating stamps on the inside in Memento Black ink.

I just love them and I know that I say this almost every year, but this collection of In Colours has to be my absolute favourite yet!

I find myself reaching for them all the time.

I just love this new embossing folder and have been using it lots! It’s just such a great subtle and basic texture that can be used across many different stamp sets and bundles and would be suitable for any theme of card!

Here’s a look at the Blossoms in Bloom bundle that I have used.

This bundle is one of our more pricey bundles due to the size and collection of dies.

This bundle is $104.25.
