Happy Friday! It’s almost the weekend. I hope that you have some crafty plans ahead!
Today I have come to share a bright and happy fun birthday card with you all.
This uses a mixture of old and new! Always a fun way to approach a card by mixing both the new and old!
I saw the beautiful Whale Builder Punch and wanted to use it just as it is to build a whale without the coordinating stamp set (although I did use it to add some speckles to the whale)
I hope you get some fun inspiration from today’s bright and happy card!

Here’s a look at the finished card.
I used a combination of; Pacific Point, Coastal Cabana and Mango Melody as my colour choices for this masculine boy card.
I also added in some touches of Granny Apple Green and Gold!
I had used the gorgeous Painted Textures 3D Embossing Folder as a layer on my background and one of the gorgeous Scalloped rectangles from the Scalloped Contours Dies.
The whale is placed on some circles cut from the Layering Circles Dies. I love that these stuck around as they are a great basic!
My sentiment is stamped in Pacific Point on some Coastal Cabana cardstock using the beautiful You Are Amazing Stamp Set which is retiring – so if you like this stamp set – be sure to grab it now before it’s gone!

Here’s a close up of the finished card where you can see some of the texture and detail.
I have embellished with some beautiful Linen Thread and some of the Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles.
These sprinkles are the cutest and are also being retired! I will miss them! They add the cutest touch!

Here’s a look at the inside of the card which I have kept simple with layers of Basic Black and Basic White with some stamping in Night of Navy, Mango Melody and Coastal Cabana. I have added a strip of the Ombre Specialty Paper.
I hope that you got some inspiration from today’s card share.
