Today I am here to show you something rare for me…a scrapbook page!
When I saw the gorgeous Fine Art Floral suite of products – I saw scrapbooking! With the gorgeous painted textures and bold and bright colours in the Designer Series Paper’s – I just knew that I had to go back to my scrapbooking roots!
I wanted to make a beautiful page to show off this gorgeous photo of my Mum and my Aunty to gift to my Aunty for her recent birthday.
Combined with the gorgeous Strong & Beautiful stamp – it was perfect!
Here you can see the finished page.
I even got out my sewing machine to give the page a finished edge. I am no sewing expert – and so I embrace the ‘messy stitching’ look but I think it really added a extra texture and handmade flair to the page.
I chose to add some fussy cut flowers from the Designer Series Paper to the page to both the bottom left of the photo and the top right and it really ‘made’ the page for me, so that I didn’t need too much else.
Adding some of the Fine Art Ribbon which I also frayed for some added texture.
Here’s a close up of the finished page where you can see some of the added detail.
I also brought in some embellishments from the Forever Greenery suite – adding some of the Forever Gold Laser cut pieces for some gold fun to the page – as well as some of the Gilded gems and one of the fun Gold Hoops also from the Forever Greenery suite.
Here’s another close up of the page.
This sentiment from the Strong & Beautiful stamp set was just perfect for this page – perfect for both of these amazing women in my life.
An amazing gift!
Don’t be shy to scrapbook with supplies that you naturally see lots of handmade card examples with – these are definitely supplies made also with the memory keeper in mind!
I hope you got some fun inspiration today.
